Who designs everything? PDF Print E-mail
FAQs

Where do the designs come from?

Mostly from identifying a specific need, or a conversation where someone says 'wouldn't it be great if...'. Inspiration can come from anywhere however; nature, engineering or just sparks from nowhere. The latter sometimes cause sleepless nights but I keep an ideas book for jottings and scribblings that has proven useful. Ideas and design shortage has never been an issue, in fact sometimes I wish I could just turn off the tap.

Doesn’t using special materials make it expensive? PDF Print E-mail
FAQs

Unfortunately, using materials which can withstand permanent external installation and the processes necessary to work with those materials are a big part of the cost. I use aluminium and stainless steel mostly. I’d rather do that than see rust 6 months down the line.
