Bingbangbong has been the UK's specialist designer and manufacturer of outdoor musical instruments since 1999. Since appearing on BBC Dragons Den we have been often imitated but never matched for sound quality - simply because we only make instruments - we are not playground makers simply adding a sound range of coloured tubes. Paul Marshall, the bingbangbong founder and main designer has been a musician for 35+ years, he has also worked as an early years music facilitator. Lots of So Mi La songs, rolling around on the floor, eurhythmics, solfa, all complimenting Paul's already creative approaches to sound uses.

Bingbangbong has aimed its musical resources squarely at expanding KS1 & KS2 experiences within schools where we feel that we can have most beneficial influence. We tie in with the DfES recommendation for use of the pentatonic or Dragon Scale .

This guarantees no 'bad' notes, a successful and harmonic experience and the reinforcement of key intervallic relationships for this age group. Not to mention social development, motor development, listening skills, concept learning and more.

As well as building this creative approach into the instrument design, we also provide front-end staff with creative primer material to hopefully spark their own creative pilot-light. This is material is an ongoing resource available to you.

Our community holds the bulk of the training and creative resources. It is accessible once you become a client  and there are ideas and a growing range of resources are available
