This page sets out bingbangbong's guarantee plus clarification regarding the conditions under which it is offered. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Purchase of bingbangbong equipment indicates agreement to these terms & conditions

Guarantee

• All bingbangbong products are sold with a standard two year manufacturer's guarantee on item manufacturing and design only.

Limitations of Use

• Products are intended for use only in a musical / sound exploration / sensory experience context.

• The items are robust and constructed to be 'over strong' for the intended use, they are never intended to be used for climbing or other misuse. No responsibility is accepted for damages or loss arising from misuse.

• With normal use and exposure, items should be functional for many generations.

Installation

• Installation advice is general advice and does not account for your exact local conditions. Advise bingbangbong before purchase if you have location-specific considerations.

• Installation should only be carried out by an approved playground installer.

• Bingbangbong accepts no responsibility for any harm or other effect whatsoever arising from installation or siting.

Billing terms

• A 30% deposit is due at the time of ordering

• If this is not possible within your payment systems, (e.g. schools or councils) the invoice in full will be issued when the order is accepted.

• Payment is due 30 days from invoice date

Threat-resistance

• 'Tamper proof' means that the fittings cannot be undone without some form of tool, usually a non-standard tool.

• Vandal resistance means increased security and protection against theft of or damage to the product. There is no such thing as vandal proof more...

Elemental / Environmental

• All aluminium based instruments are supplied with a chemically etched protective undercoat and a layer of coloured powdercoating. These are hard wearing, external quality finishes, but they can be marked or chipped if struck or scratched with a hard implement.

• Although virtually indestructible as a material, SS instrument finishes may be marked or dented by striking sufficiently forcefully with a hard implement.

• Stainless Steel instruments are suitable for any use not requiring permanent immersion in water. All 316 grade construction immersible SS is available on request.

• Environmental factors such as UV exposure, wind, rain and salty air near a coast, may cause a dulling of cosmetic finishes and colours after several years. Such cosmetic effects do not affect the instrument/artefact performance.

• Stainless mirror polished spheres and hemispheres are clearly marked as somewhat fragile having a thin skin that can be dented with aggressive use. Please be aware of this.

Sensory Awareness

• Sensory products are designed to provide stimulating and interesting opportunities for exploration and sensation. Individuals react differently to different stimulii and whilst we can indicate the likely range of effects, no guarantee of effect or benefit is given.

• Several of the sensory items are designed to give-off extremely strong vibrations and sound waves, You are asked to decide if this is appropriate for your clientele before purchase.
